This data includes Ethereum focused Layer 2 blockchain engineer activity found on public development repositories and may serve as a leading indicator and long-term signal of a project’s success or failure. It includes 40+ metrics such as active developers, commits, commit descriptions, community development indicators, developer dedication cohorts, developer experience, file changes, file types, issues, and pull requests. The full dataset covers development activity since each project’s inception, while the sample dataset includes data between August 2023 and August 2024. Use of the sample dataset is reserved for the client’s internal business purposes.
