Historical Methane (CH4) Record from the DE08 Ice Core at Law Dome (Antarctica), in CDIAC, Trends '93
收藏资源简介:
The 234-m long ice core designated "DE08" was drilled in 1987 on the east side of Law Dome, Abtarctica, by the Australian Antarctic Division. The ice core was analyzed with a fine resolution to date the core back to 1841 through 1978 in order to make direct comparisons of CH4 concentrations from ice cores with modern records. The ice core shows an increase in CH4 concentrations from 823 ppbv in 1841 to 1481 ppbv in 1978. Please use the following citation for this dataset: Etheridge, D.M., G.I. Pearman, and P.J. Fraser.1994. 'Historical CH4 record from the "DE08" ice core at Law Dome'. pp. 256-260. In T.A. Boden, D.P. Kaiser, R.J. Sepanski, and F.W. Stoss (eds.), 'Trends '93: A Compendium of Data on Global Change', ORNL/CDIAC-65. Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Oak Ridge, TN, USA. Data from Law Dome are tabulated in the Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center's (CDIAC's) 'Trends '93: A Compendium of Data on Global Change' (Boden, et al, eds., 1994) as depth, year, and CH4 concentration (ppmv) and is available via ftp: "http://cdiac.esd.ornl.gov/ftp/trends93/ch4/lawdome.259"
