Dataset from National Infant Sleep Position Study

National observational study to examine infant sleep practices and factors associated with adherence to the American Academy of Pediatrics back-to-sleep recommendations and related infant care practices. Nighttime caregivers of infants less than eight months of age were surveyed during 1992 to 2010 about their infant's sleep position, reasons for their choice of sleep position, specific sources of sleep position recommendations, and other practices, such as bed sharing, bedding used, and use of pacifiers.
