The high-value patent database for the intelligent computing industry primarily covers invention patents and utility model patents related to the intelligent computing industry from the global patent database. It retrieves and scores the patent data using its proprietary algorithm, which helps stakeholders understand the intellectual property (IP) filing status and geographic layout of the intelligent computing industry. By comparing the patent data of various enterprises in this industry, users can evaluate the technological innovation capabilities of each enterprise. Additionally, gaining insights into the technological development trends and core technologies of the intelligent computing industry assists enterprises in avoiding redundant R&D and intellectual property infringement. This database is constructed based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Starting from the patent value assessment framework, the patent value index system is divided into three first-level indicators: technological value, legal value, and economic value. These first-level indicators are further broken down into second-level indicators: 1. Technological value indicators: number of independent claims, word count of the independent claim, remaining valid period (years), number of patent family members, number of cited patents, number of times cited by other patents, number of participating inventors, and number of technical fields covered; 2. Legal value indicators: patent type, number of document pages, and number of received invalidation requests; 3. Economic value indicators: number of transfers, number of licenses, number of pledge financing cases, patent award score, and customs recordation score. A three-dimensional matrix is established based on the first-level and second-level indicators. Data corresponding to patent evaluation indicators are obtained via patent interface data. The 1-9 scaling method (with 1 as the lowest score and 9 as the highest) is adopted to calculate the corresponding index weights. Each index's score is multiplied by its weight, and the sum of all index scores constitutes the total patent score. Patents are categorized according to their total score intervals: 80-100 is classified as high-value patents, 60-80 as important patents, and below 60 as general patents. This database provides technical references and guidance for R&D personnel of enterprises in the intelligent computing industry, and offers support for R&D decision-making for companies.
