Cr and TPH pollutants on soil microbiota

In this study, we used high-throughput Illumina sequencing of 16s rRNA gene amplicons NGS sequencing approach to analyze the microbial community structure and predict the community function in a set of 3 different contamination levels of heavy metal-TPH (Total petroleum hydrocarbons) polluted soils, and revealed the variations of the microbial communities, which provided an microecological methodology for investigating potential heavy metal tolerant or resistant bacteria that are able to cope with heavy metal-TPH contaminated soil, which would be a noble research direction for shaping the future of soil micro-ecosystem remediation.
