Cicatricial Alopecia pathogenesis: Uniqueness or similarities between lymphocytic subtypes Lichen planopilaris (LPP) and Central centrifugal cicatricial alopecia (CCCA)
收藏资源简介:
Microarray analyses of LPP and CCCA was undertaken to decipher differential pathophysiological pathways leading to disease initiation and progression Scarring alopecia consists of a collection of disorders characterized by destruction of hair follicles, replacement with fibrous scar tissue, and irreversible hair loss. Alopecia affects men and women worldwide and can be a significant source of psychological stress and depression for affected individuals. The purpose of this study was to explore Gene expression profiles in scalp tissue samples from normal control subjects (n=1(comprising 10 pooled samples)) and in matched samples obtained from affected (n=3) and unaffected (n=3) areas of the scalp in patients with Central centrifugal cicatricial alopecia (CCCA) as well with matched samples obtained from affected (n=7) and unaffected (n=7) areas of the scalp in patients with Lichen planopilaris (LPP) .
