T-PARC: DOTSTAR ASTRA Flight Level Data. Version 1.0

This data set includes the one minute resolution flight level data from the seven flights undertaken by the DOTSTAR (Dropwindsonde Observations for Typhoon Surveillance near the Taiwan Region) ASTRA aircraft during the T-PARC field season. The flights took place on 20 August and 10, 11, 16, 22, 27 and 28 September 2008 in the region around Taiwan. The data were provided by the National Taiwan University. The data are in comma-delimited ASCII and contain the following parameters: altitude, true and ground air speed, static air temperature, latitude, longitude, wind direction, wind speed, heading and time.
