Dacang Village Pedestrian Trajectory Raw Data Set: Wi-Fi Probe-Based Localization Records (2021)

This dataset contains pedestrian trajectory data collected in Dacang Village, Jinggangshan City, Jiangxi Province, using a custom-developed Wi-Fi probe by the research team. Each Wi-Fi probe is equipped with 4G capabilities, allowing data to be transmitted to a cloud server via mobile networks, eliminating the need for a local database. The data collection spanned 26 days, with 19 Wi-Fi probes strategically deployed at various public nodes within the village, including traffic intersections, essential service areas, cultural activity spaces, and daily production zones.Throughout the data collection period, a total of 4.99 million localization records were obtained. The data is stored in JSON format, with each entry containing essential fields such as the MAC address of the detected device, probe ID, signal strength, and detection timestamp. This dataset provides a valuable foundation for subsequent analyses, including trajectory tracking, behavioral pattern identification, and spatial planning applications for rural development.
