The 5x5 dither observation with the Crab are used for absolute calibration of the response timing analysis and to improve the imaging calibration. The dither patterns of the different observations are slightly offset to each otherso that the data can combined in a way mimicing different sources (as it was done with the BLC ground calibrationdata).
