This dataset "Comparative Transcriptome Analysis of Wild-Type and Metabolically Engineered Pichia pastoris (Komagataella phaffii) for β-Lactam Precursor ACV Production" supports the manuscript titled “Metabolic Engineering of Pichia pastoris for Production of the β-Lactam Precursor δ-(L-α-aminoadipyl)-L-cysteinyl-D-valine (ACV)”. It includes raw transcriptomic data (RNA-Seq FASTQ files) and the results of Differential Gene Expression (DEG) analysis comparing a wild-type strain of Pichia pastoris (also known as Komagataella phaffii) with a genome engineered strain designed to produce the β-Lactam precursor δ-(L-α-aminoadipyl)-L-cysteinyl-D-valine (ACV).
