The HOMULA-RIR dataset was developed by the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano, focusing on the acquisition of room impulse responses (RIRs) for remote teleconferencing and spatial audio applications. This dataset is collected using high-end microphones and a uniform linear microphone array, covering a wide range of areas within a seminar room. The dataset includes two categories of RIR data: RIRs collected by simulating the speaker's voice with the linear microphone array, and RIRs obtained by densely sampling listener positions with high-end microphones. During its development, measurements of reverberation time and clarity index were carried out, and the validity of the dataset was verified through applications such as source localization and source separation. This dataset is mainly applied in fields including sound field reconstruction and acoustic array processing, aiming to address the challenges of acoustic data processing in real-world environments.
