In this study, we have used a next generation sequencing approach (based on exome seguencing and validation by full length gene sequencing) in order to identify new candidate genes involved in endometrioid endometrial tumor initiation, focusing on non-ultramutated tumors. We have detected a significant mutation frequency for a subset of chromatin remodelling and DNA repair related genes.
