资源简介:

Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) systems refer to a policy and regulatory approach that assigns responsibility to producers for the management of their products across the entire lifecycle, including at the post-consumer stage. This indicator provides information on the existence of EPR in countries, for particular waste types (packaging, non-packaging, fishing gear, e-waste, waste batteries, and other), whether the policy is government or industry-led, whether participation is voluntary or mandatory, and the current operational status (law passed, legally binding regulations, approved policy or strategy, or planning stage) of the EPR system. Users can download the entire What a Waste 3.0 dataset along with individual data sources and explanatory notes here: https://www.worldbank.org/en/publication/what-a-waste/. To access the What a Waste 3.0 report as well as its summaries in English, French, Japanese, and Spanish, please visit https://hdl.handle.net/10986/44141.
