Several individual honey bee samples were collected during the first ten years of the Apis cerana incursion to Australia. DNA was extracted from samples and 150bp paired-end reads were generated with Illumina HiSeqX. Samples were used to investigate population changes and natural selection occurring in the aftermath of a founding event.
