Molecular profiling of non-small cell lung cancer organoids

The purpose of this study is to establish and molecularly characterize non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) organoids derived from patient lung tumors and patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models. Whole exome sequencing and RNA-sequencing were performed in patient/PDX/organoid samples. NSCLC organoids exhibited mutation, copy number and gene expression profiles similar to those of their parental tissues. This study describes a valuable resource of NSCLC preclinical models for disease modeling and drug screening.
