Age of infection was unknown for the Bonn/Berlin cohort, for this cohort age at diagnosis is shown.2Alcohol consumption data was missing in 12 HCC and 290 non-HCC patients from the SCCS.3HCV genotype was missing in 5 HCC and 23 non-HCC patients from the SCCS, in 1 HCC and 2 non-HCC patients from the Japanese GWAS, and 50 HCC patients from the Japanese replication cohorts.
