Tutorial books are generally bestsellers in bookstores, but the sales of tutorial books for different subjects vary significantly across different urban areas. Taking science-themed tutorial books as an example, based on the statistics of the beginning-of-month inventory quantity, monthly outbound quantity, monthly inbound quantity and end-of-month inventory quantity of each warehouse, the inventory adjustment index and recommended adjustment type for this category of tutorial books are calculated, and the final recommended adjustment quantity is derived to help warehouse book inventory managers manage book inventory more conveniently. The algorithm rules for the inventory adjustment analysis data of science-themed tutorial books are as follows: 1. If the recommended adjustment type is "reduce", the recommended adjustment quantity equals monthly outbound quantity * 0.8; if the recommended adjustment type is "increase", the recommended adjustment quantity equals |monthly outbound quantity * 0.8 - end-of-month inventory quantity|. 3. Warehouse book inventory managers can refer to the recommended adjustment type and recommended adjustment quantity when adjusting the inventory of this category of tutorial books, thereby improving management efficiency.
