The dataset mainly includes invention patents and utility model patents related to 2,3-dichloropyridine from the global patent database. It also evaluates and classifies the patent data using a proprietary algorithm, enabling users to conduct cross-sectional and longitudinal analyses of the changes in 2,3-dichloropyridine-related patent data, and facilitating the assessment of intellectual property work outcomes related to 2,3-dichloropyridine. By comparing the 2,3-dichloropyridine-related patent data of different enterprises and individual inventors, users can gain insights into the technological innovation capabilities and disparities in innovation levels among these entities. Understanding the technological development trends of 2,3-dichloropyridine can help enterprises avoid redundant research and development (R&D) and prevent their developed technologies from infringing on others' intellectual property rights.
This dataset is built upon the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) model integrated with the Entropy Weight Method (EWM). The target layer of the model is patent value, and the index layer divides the patent value indicator system into five value dimensions: market, technology, law, strategy, and economy. The index layer is further subdivided into the criterion layer, which includes:
- Technological value: number of IPC classifications, number of cited patents, years since patent grant;
- Economic value: remaining patent term, comprehensive third-party valuation, number of patent pledges;
- Legal value: number of claims, number of document pages, number of non-patent literature citations;
- Strategic value: number of inventors, number of simple patent family members, number of citations within 5 years;
- Market value: number of technical theme classifications, patent type, and whether the patent belongs to strategic emerging industries.
Corresponding weights are derived by constructing a five-dimensional original matrix and patent evaluation criteria based on the aforementioned dimensions and indicators. The weights calculated via the EWM are utilized to compute the value of each dimension. The five single-dimensional values are equally weighted, and the sum of the five dimensions is defined as the comprehensive value of high-value patents. The IFS function is employed to assess the value of patents, categorizing them into ultra-high-value, high-value, medium-value, and low-value/non-value patents, providing a priority reference for R&D decision-making and technology avoidance for technicians in this field.
