The topographic maps, known as the “Economy Edition”, were primarily intended to serve as a map for the areas of administration, science and culture, order and security, industry and agriculture, transport, planning and environmental protection of the former GDR. They were classified as “Confidential Causes of Service” or “Only for Service Use”. The content levels of the TK50AV are: Grotto/Gitternet-Black, Water Blue, Relief/Street Filling/Building Areas-Red Brown, Forest Area Green.被称为‘经济版’的地形图（topographic maps），主要作为前德意志民主共和国（GDR）行政、科学文化、秩序与安全、工农业、交通、规划及环境保护领域的专用地图。该类地图的密级划分为‘公务机密（Confidential Causes of Service）’与‘仅限公务使用（Only for Service Use）’两类。TK50AV地形图的内容色层包括：洞穴（Grotto）/吉特内特黑（Gitternet-Black）、水系蓝（Water Blue）、地貌/道路填充/建筑用地红棕（Relief/Street Filling/Building Areas-Red Brown）、林区绿（Forest Area Green）。
