This dataset focuses on the environmental radioactive distribution data of 238Pu, 239Pu, 240Pu and 241Pu in soil profiles, which was experimentally obtained across 31 provinces, municipalities directly under the Central Government and autonomous regions in China, with the data primarily aggregated at the prefecture-level administrative unit level. The dataset includes one data table containing 529 records, which was mainly acquired through sample collection, pretreatment, and rapid, high-sensitivity measurements using ICP-MS and alpha spectrometers. The data has been further refined through experimental work and is shared under an agreed protocol.
