Finding Aid, Huntington Reservoir Area Appraisal 1963-1964

This collection is referred to as "Huntington Reservoir Area Appraisal 1963-1964.” This name is consistent throughout the finding aid, the file folders, and the box labels. The extent of this collection is a quarter of a linear inch.
The associated documentation for the Huntington Reservoir Area Appraisal 1963-1964 was stored in one acidic folder in one acidic cardboard box with several other document collections. There was no removal of photographs or oversized materials from this collection. The copy of the report is a photocopy version of the original report. The processing archivist found the report to be 15 pages long. The report entitled Archaeological Testing and Excavation in the Salamonie and Mississinewa Reservoirs was used to help provide information for the report entitled Appraisal of the Archeological Resources of the Huntington Reservoir Area, Wabash River, Indiana by James H. Kellar.
An additional record series, Catalog Records, was created to house the Glenn A. Black Laboratory of Archaeology artifact catalog for this investigation. These two files were sent to the VCP electronically, printed on acid free paper, and housed with the associated documentation. Scanned asset numbers were not assigned, because the files were uploaded into the digital imaging database directly from the file sent by GBL.
