Whole exome sequencing based detection of germline alterations in patients with multiple primary melanoma (MPM)

The aim of this study was the identification of novel susceptibility genes for MPM. To achieve this goal, whole exome sequencing was performed in 8 patients diagnosed with MPM. In summary, in this study we have identified three novel mutations and seven polymorphic variants, which could confer MPM susceptibility.
