When an insured person passes away, their family members apply for withdrawal of the balance in their individual medical insurance account; 2. When an insured person settles abroad or in Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan, they apply for withdrawal of the balance in their own individual medical insurance account; 3. When a foreigner departs China to return to their home country, they apply for withdrawal of the balance in their own individual medical insurance account; 4. When an insured person relocates for employment across different overall planning regions and is unable to complete the transfer procedures for the balance of their individual medical insurance account due to certain reasons, or after the transfer of their medical insurance relationship is completed, they apply for withdrawal of the balance in their own individual medical insurance account.
