Higher education; first and older students, course of study, origin

This table shows the number of first and older year students at higher education institutions financed by the government by type of education, course of study, country of origin and country of birth (parents). CBS is moving towards a new classification of the population by origin. From now on, it is more decisive where a person was born, besides where one’s parents were born. The word migration background is no longer used. The main classification of Western/Non-Westerns is replaced by a classification based on continents and common immigration countries. This classification is gradually introduced in tables and publications with population by origin. From the academic year 2015/'16, this table also contains the number of enrolled students at a number of designated institutions: the theological universities and the University of Humanistics. From the academic year 2016/'17, the Transnational University of Limburg has also been included. This table uses the ISCED-F2013 format. This table shows the annual breakdown of students across the different fields of study. Due to clusters and splits of studies from year to year, this table is less suitable for a comparison of fields of study over the years. Data available from: academic year 2011/'12 . Status of the figures: The figures for the academic years up to 2020/‘21 are final and the figures for the academic year 2021/’22 are provisional. In the first quarter of 2023, the preliminary figures for the academic year 2022/'23 will be available.本表格展示了政府资助高等教育机构内，按教育类型、修读专业、原籍国及父母出生国划分的一年级与高年级学生人数。 荷兰中央统计局（CBS）正推行全新的人口原籍分类体系。从今往后，判定人口原籍的核心依据将从父母出生地，转向更具决定性的个人出生地。“移民背景（migration background）”这一术语已不再使用，原有的西方/非西方二元分类框架，将替换为基于大洲及主要移民输入国的分类标准。该分类体系正逐步在人口原籍相关的表格与出版物中落地应用。 自2015/‘16学年起，本表格新增多所指定院校的注册学生人数，涵盖神学院校与人文主义大学（University of Humanistics）。自2016/‘17学年起，林堡跨国大学（Transnational University of Limburg）亦被纳入统计范畴。本表格采用ISCED-F2013分类格式。 本表格按年度统计了不同学科专业的学生人数。由于各年度的学科专业类目存在合并与拆分调整，本表格不适用于跨年度的学科领域对比。 数据覆盖起始学年：2011/‘12。 数据状态说明： 2020/‘21学年及此前所有学年的统计数据均为最终定稿，2021/‘22学年的统计数据为暂定版本。 截至2023年1月23日的更新说明：无更新，本表格为新增表格。 新数据发布计划：2023年第一季度将发布2022/‘23学年的暂定统计数据。
