Analyzing the sales penetration of the cooperative’s carrot products across different districts and counties across the country holds important statistical significance and practical application value for understanding the market development trends of carrot products in different regions across the country, identifying growth opportunities and potential risks in various regions, guiding the company’s product production planning and commodity pricing, and optimizing resource allocation. This dataset can also provide references for suppliers (manufacturers) of carrot products and other peer sellers across the country in terms of market entry, pricing strategies and other aspects. 1. Data Collection: Collect sales data of the cooperative’s carrot products across the country, including fields such as product model, sales district/county, statistical year and quarter, highest monthly sales volume (tons) within the quarter, lowest monthly sales volume (tons) within the quarter, and average monthly sales volume (tons) within the quarter. 2. Data Preprocessing: Clean the collected data to remove duplicate or missing data records. 3. Establishment of Sales Penetration Analysis Model: (1) Calculate the average monthly potential sales volume of the quarter: Average monthly potential sales volume of the quarter = (Highest monthly sales volume within the quarter + Lowest monthly sales volume within the quarter + Average monthly sales volume within the quarter)/3, rounded to an integer; (2) Calculate the average monthly sales penetration rate of the quarter: Average monthly sales penetration rate of the quarter = (Average monthly sales volume within the quarter / Average monthly potential sales volume of the quarter) * 100%; (3) Sales Penetration Analysis: Based on the calculated sales penetration rate, classify different levels by district/county: mark ≥90% as "High Penetration", mark in the 50%-90% interval (excluding 50% and 90%) as "Medium Penetration", and mark ≤50% as "Low Sales Penetration".
