Golden snub-nosed monkey (Rhinopithecus roxellana) is endangered leaf-eatingmonkeys that inhabit the northemnmost distribution of all colobines primates. Thisprimates inhabiting seasonal temperate forests in the mountainous highlands (extremelycold in winter with snow coving, very different in non-human primates) across centraand westemn China. They lived in aggregated multilevel societies comprised with largenumber of one-male, multiple female social units and bachelor groups.川金丝猴（Rhinopithecus roxellana）是濒危食叶猴类，为疣猴亚科灵长类中分布纬度最北的物种。该物种栖息于中国中西部山地高原的季节性温带森林中，其冬季严寒多雪，这一栖息环境特征与其他非人灵长类的生存环境差异显著。它们营群居多层社会结构，由大量一雄多雌社会单元及全雄群共同组成。
