Among the general population, it is known that low education is associated with poorer health and external and fatalistic control beliefs. Relationships between education, quality of life, and control beliefs in cancer patients remain unclear. In this cross-sectional study, 605 cancer patients from two German cancer registries were analyzed. We used the EORTC QLQ-C30 questionnaire to measure quality of life and the IPC questionannire to assess control beliefs. <br>业已证实，在普通人群中，低教育水平与较差的健康状况以及外控型、宿命论型控制信念(control beliefs)存在关联。癌症患者群体中，教育水平、生活质量与控制信念三者间的关联仍不明确。本项横断面研究对来自德国两家癌症登记处的605名癌症患者进行了分析，采用EORTC QLQ-C30量表评估患者的生活质量，并使用IPC问卷对其控制信念进行测评。
