This dataset describes the ORSTOM 2 collection (MNHN, Paris). In november-december 1980, the RV "Coriolis" carried out an oceanographic campaign in the south and west of Luçon, Philippines. The objective was to capture some female individuals of Neoglyphea opinata femelles (Arthropoda: Decapoda, see MUSORSTOM 1 campaign) and to improve the knowledge on the benthic fauna in the Philippines. 66 trawling operations were carried out, between 50 and 1950 m depth. Sampling has allowed to collect a series of new species. the samlping in the North of the Sibuyan sea, in various biotopes have allowed to record species which were new to the region. The present dataset focuses on sea stars (Echinodermata: Asteroidea) collected during the Musortom 2 campaign.本数据集围绕法国海外科学研究与技术局（ORSTOM）2号馆藏（巴黎国家自然历史博物馆，MNHN）展开。1980年11至12月，“科里奥利号”科考船（RV Coriolis）在菲律宾吕宋岛南部及西部海域执行海洋科考航次。本次航次的核心目标为采集拟雕虾（Neoglyphea opinata）雌性个体（节肢动物门：十足目，详见MUSORSTOM 1号科考航次），并深化对菲律宾海域底栖生物（benthic fauna）的科学认知。 本次科考共完成66次拖网作业，作业水深区间为50至1950米。采样工作不仅获取了多个新物种，在锡布延海北部不同生境开展的采样还记录到一批该区域此前未有记载的物种。 本数据集聚焦于MUSORSTOM 2号航次采集到的海星（棘皮动物门：海星纲，Echinodermata: Asteroidea）样本。
