The role of ecology in sexual selection in the Heteroptera (thesis data)
收藏资源简介:
Data from chapters 3 to 6. All data can be accessed using Excel and analysed in R. All data can be found in the thesis appendix. Chapter 3: The raw data of habitats and sexual signalling modes identified for each heteropteran family. Some families exhibit more than one signalling mode or habitat type. Chapter 4: The raw data from experiments 1 and 2. Experiment 1 data pertains to the natural variation in female body size and the number of internal eggs. Experiment 2 data was collected before and after body size manipulation using saline injections and included mating experiment data. Chapter 5: The raw data from experiments 1 and 2, each with two experimental repeats. Different measures of life history, fecundity and fertility data were collected for experiments 1 and 2. Chapter 6: The raw data for each effect size taken from papers included in the meta-analysis. See Chapter 6 methods for definitions. Data are those recorded from text, statistical analyses and figures, and include the results of Fisher’s Z transformation.
