Aviette

This work, in four movements, is for piano trio with digital accompaniment. Aviette is a collaboration between myself and Solstice trio, with each movement based on one members’ earliest musical memories. The accompanying recordings combine some of the groups’ collective memories: listening to the radio, practising and making music, fighting hard as women to be heard, getting stuck in the rain and quite enjoying it… The idea behind Aviette was to create a sonic narrative that harnesses the very essence of the concert experience: collective listening.本作品为搭载数字伴奏的钢琴三重奏，共设四个乐章。《Aviette》是我与Solstice三重奏乐团的合作之作，每个乐章均取材于乐团成员各自最早的音乐记忆。配套录音融合了乐团的集体记忆片段：收听广播、练习与创作音乐、作为女性群体竭力争取发声机会、被困雨中却乐在其中……《Aviette》的创作初衷是打造一则声音叙事，以传递音乐会体验的核心本质：集体聆听。
