This dataset comprises test reports for electrochemical sensors deployed to measure the corrosion rate of pipeline steel. Its data sources primarily include electrochemical corrosion monitoring stations for pipeline steel corrosion rate and supporting sensors installed on-site during corrosion monitoring projects of long-distance oil and gas transmission pipelines. The dataset was developed to address the critical issue that oil and gas transmission pipelines are susceptible to corrosion failure under complex service environments, including soil corrosion, medium erosion, and electrochemical corrosion, which pose severe threats to the safe operation of pipelines. There is an urgent demand for precise corrosion rate monitoring data to support pipeline integrity management. This dataset provides reliable measured data for research on pipeline steel corrosion mechanisms, development of corrosion rate prediction models, optimization of anti-corrosion measures, and pipeline life assessment, holding significant engineering value for ensuring the long-term safe, efficient, and economical operation of oil and gas pipelines. Built to cater to the research needs of pipeline steel corrosion protection technology and the requirements of oil and gas pipeline safety monitoring and evaluation, this dataset relies on electrochemical sensors for pipeline steel corrosion rate measurement. It mainly records data such as pipeline steel corrosion rate (mm/a), electrochemical impedance value (Ω·cm²), linear polarization resistance (Ω·cm²), and corrosion modes, with a total data size of 30 MB.
