Dataset of M170 amplitudes for avatar and real face comparison

This dataset contains the data used for SPSS statistical analysis in the M170 comparison study between avatar and real faces.The M170 values are unitless and represent signal magnitudes obtained from dynamic Statistical Parametric Mapping (dSPM) source analysis. “L” and “R” indicate the two hemispheric conditions (left and right).The dataset also includes image feature information for the four facial categories: real human, avatar human, real animal, and avatar animal. The data include:<br>• Face and eye pixel count and ratio – the number and proportion of pixels corresponding to the face region and eye region within the entire image.• Image brightness (intensity) <br>• RMS contrast
