Coastal Salmon Restoration Initiative, OR, 1997
收藏资源简介:
Core Areas are reaches or watersheds within individual coastal basins that are judged to be of critical importance to the sustenance of salmon populations that inhabit those basins. Core areas contain habitat needed to sustain populations. Areas where salmon or steelhead are concentrated reflect local differences in the character of the stream environment and also preferences of each species for certain habitat features. Core area maps are intended to allow resource managers of the coastal landscape to make informed decisions regarding the effects of human activity on salmon. This data set is part of the Inforain project which allows users to better understand their watershed. This data goes along with other data sets from the Inforain project.
