These are the underlying data for the article "<i>Evaluating Overton and Altmetric as tools for tracking healthcare research use and impact on policy and practice: a descriptive study". </i>We explored the usefulness of the platforms Overton and Altmetric as tools to gain insight into the use in policy and clinical practice of research evidence generated by the NIHR Policy Research Unit in Maternal and Neonatal Health and Care.This project contains the following underlying data:Data file 1.
