The effect of a long-term calorie restricted diet was evaluated in hippocampus of male mice The dietary intervention was initiated at 14 months of age and continued until 30 months of age Overall design: Tissues were collected from mice at 30 months of age; there were 10 microarrays used in total: gene expression was measured in 5 control-fed mice and 5 calorie restricted mice (one individual mouse per microarray)
