Vegetable prices play a critical role in the healthy and stable operation of the national economy. This work develops a price prediction model using the 7-day prior wholesale price data of cherry tomatoes to forecast the same-day wholesale price, enabling the wholesale price to quickly reflect market price trends. The model helps agricultural market entities avoid operational risks and optimize decision-making. It can clearly present price trends and volatility characteristics, provide data support for procurement, sales and inventory management of enterprises in the upstream and downstream of the supply chain, and issue price anomaly warnings for relevant government departments to assist in stabilizing the market and guaranteeing vegetable basket supply. 1. Data Collection: The data is sourced from enterprise wholesale transaction records. We collect the wholesale price data of the 7 days preceding the analysis date to construct a time-series dataset. 2. Data Preprocessing: Clean the dataset by removing missing values and outliers, and conduct data smoothing to reduce random price fluctuations. 3. Model Output and Application: The price model can timely output the recommended same-day wholesale price, clearly demonstrate the trends and volatility characteristics of wholesale prices, and provide data support for procurement, sales and inventory management of enterprises in the upstream and downstream of the supply chain.
