Interview transcripts

This collection contains interview transcripts from the project “The Impact of Post-War Population Resettlements on Polish-Czech Cross-Border Cooperation” (NCN - 2021/43/I/HS5/02529). The interviews were conducted on both the Polish and Czech sides of the Polish-Czech Euroregions.

All transcripts have been anonymized to protect the personal data of participants. Statements that could directly reveal the identity of an interviewee, as well as any personal information, have been replaced with “xxx”.

The interviewer’s statements are marked in bold, while the respondents’ answers are written in standard font. Interviews conducted on the Polish side are available in Polish, and those carried out on the Czech side are available in English.

The transcript files are saved in PDF format. Each file follows the naming convention:

Where:

DATE OF INTERVIEW – the date when the interview was conducted (format: YYYY_MM_DD)

INTERVIEW NUMBER – the assigned interview number (Wywiad number)

RESPONDENT NUMBER – the respondent’s number within a given interview

LANGUAGE – the language of the transcript (e.g., PL, CZ, ENG)

EUROREGION NAME – the name of the Euroregion (e.g., Silesia, Pradziad)

BORDER SIDE – the side of the border where the interview was conducted (PLside, CZside)

Substantive remarks:During the research, we collected personal data, which have been anonymized to ensure the safety of interviewees and to allow the transcripts to be shared.The interviewees gave their oral consent to participate in the research, to be recorded, and to have their statements transcribed.They were also informed about the thematic scope of the study carried out within the NCN grant 2021/43/I/HS5/02529.
