Reef fish hook and line samples from natural reef sites in the northern Gulf of Mexico from 2015-08-30 to 2017-11-02

Reef fish were collected with hook and line sampling from natural reef sites in the northern Gulf of Mexico from August 30 - November 3, 2015; July 28 - August 9, 2016; and July 25 - November 2, 2017. Fish were caught using 2 hook rigs, cutbait (squid and cigar minnows), and were immediately weighed (kg) and measured to the nearest mm. Identification tags were placed on fish and dissections were performed in the laboratory to determine sex.
